Before Goodwill
Before Jayson joined Goodwill, finding the right job was hard. He found Goodwill’s Extended Employment Services program through the Idaho Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (IDVR). This became a turning point for him.
Goodwill’s Help
With Goodwill’s help, Jayson found a job at the Coeur d’Alene Goodwill. He became an important part of the production team. He helped the store’s success and gained new experience.
Overcoming Changes
When the Coeur d’Alene store closed for a remodel, Jayson didn’t let this obstacle stop him. He temporarily moved to the Post Falls Goodwill. This helped him keep a steady income while the other store was closed.
Taking on New Challenges
Then, Jayson volunteered to help the Workforce & Family Services team by cleaning offices in Post Falls. He spends an hour vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and tidying up, showing his dedication to growth with new responsibilities.
After Goodwill
Jayson is excited about the new skills he’s learning. When the Coeur d’Alene Goodwill reopens, he hopes to keep helping with his cleaning duties. Jayson shared, “I like having more responsibility.”
