Employee Documents

These are the guidelines that outline the general practices to be followed by all employees to achieve your goals. Policies are more than daily procedures and work rules; they’re a road map for success.

February Town Hall meeting will be on Tuesday, February 21st from 8:10 to 8:40 AM through a TEAMS meeting. Have questions? Ask them in advance here

Beginning July 1, 2023, Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest must collect WA Cares premiums from employees’ wages. This is the state’s new long-term care insurance program.

Washington workers can apply to the State for an exemption if any of the following apply:
  • Live outside of Washington.
  • Spouse or registered domestic partner of an active-duty service member of the U.S. armed forces.
  • Have non-immigrant work visas.
  • Are a veteran with a 70% service-connected disability rating or higher.
It is the employee’s responsibility to apply and—if approved— give a copy of their approval letter from ESD to Accounting. Exemption will take effect the quarter after your exemption is approved. So apply early.

This Excel tax modeler was provided by Alliant. It can help you calculate how much LTC Act tax you will pay over your career. Change the information in the light orange boxes to reflect your situation.

For those team members who qualify for an exemption, you need to file for an exemption here to apply.
