Success Story: Fernando

Idaho Employment Program

Have you ever been without a job and didn’t know where to look for one? In 2023, Fernando was having a hard time keep a job. He came to Goodwill to find support from someone, and that someone was Lynessa, one of Goodwill’s Workforce and Family Services (WFS) program managers. Together, they wrote Fernando’s resume, cover letters for jobs, and practiced interviews. They even went to local businesses together to pick up applications and talk to hiring managers. And that’s what worked. Fernando also said, “You guys (Goodwill) are awesome and I recommend you guys.”
