Recently, Sarah celebrated her 10-year work anniversary. Her team got to celebrate her when she received her ten‑year pin at a team member event. Clark Brekke, President/CEO, was there to give her pin to her. It was a proud moment and showed how much her dedication is appreciated.
Sarah enjoys coming to work at Goodwill. One of her favorite tasks is scanning books, especially children’s books. She watches the screen closely and knows to place books with a green symbol into a separate box. She also helps stock books on the sales floor and is careful to follow safety rules, like saying, “I’m coming out,” when opening the door.
Sarah has been learning new skills at work. She is getting better at asking for help when she needs it and asks her job coach to count the books as she scans. These skills help her feel confident and successful. Sarah likes doing her job well and takes pride in her work.
